TECHNICAL DELEGATE
The Technical Delegate (TD) is a representative of, and appointed by Boccia India. The TD for each sanctioned event is responsible for ensuring that the competition is conducted in accordance with the BISFed Sport Technical Manual. The TD is also responsible for the a site inspection prior to the competition to ensure the facilities are of a standard worthy enough to host a National event and charged with the duty of writing a post event report to ensure Boccia India competitions can continually develop and improve.
REFEREES
The role of the referee is vital in ensuring accurate results. Their duties start at equipment control prior to competition and end on court ensuring that players abide by the rules and the final scores are reported accurately.
CLASSIFIERS
Every athlete wishing to compete in a Boccia India or BISFed event must be allocated a sport class by a BISFed approved International Classifier. Classification panels are present at all BISFed events and consist of a physiotherapist, technical classifier and medical doctor.
